No. The Brave 3 works fully standalone, right out of the box — no SIM card, no phone, and no subscription. The companion app is optional and only adds extras like cloud watch faces and long-term activity history.
Yes. The Brave 3 carries a 3ATM rating — fine for swimming, splashing, and showering. We only recommend avoiding hot water and steam, which can affect the seals over time.
5 to 10 days on a single charge for most kids, depending on screen brightness and how many games sneak in after dinner. A full charge takes about 2 hours over the included magnetic cable.
The included silicone band fits wrists from 130–190 mm, comfortable for most kids aged 4 to 12. Bands use standard 20 mm quick-release pins, so they pop off with no tools and extra colors are available in our accessories store.
Any manufacturing defect — screen, battery, buttons, or charging — for two full years. If something fails under normal kid use, we repair or replace it free. Bands are covered for 6 months.
